What it is

A free daily 5×5 mini crossword with an Irish flavour: place names, GAA, music, history, slang and food, mixed in with regular English words. Everyone gets the same puzzle, and a new one lands at midnight UTC each day (1am Irish summer time).

The Irish Language (Gaeilge) bits

Clues marked GAEILGE have Irish-language answers. Fadas are included, and the grid shows you where they go if you're not sure, so you can pick them up as you go.

Who makes it

The Irish Mini Crossword is made and maintained by Seán Carmody, an Irish developer. Every puzzle and clue is reviewed by hand before it goes out.
